Blue Ridge Highlights

LAKE BLUE RIDGE IS JUST ONE OF THE MANY PLACES WHERE YOU CAN SPEND A FUN DAY SWIMMING, BOATING, OR FISHING WITH THE FAMILY.

For those of you who prefer more urban activities like shopping and dining, there are a number of antique and specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants to choose from, or you can take a leisurely ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway through the mountains, taking a short layover in the towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee to stop and see the sights and visit a number of other shops and attractions before taking the train back.  You can also visit area wineries and vineyards before returning to your home away from home at Shady Grove, North.
